Well, progress on the Ellie front.
Firstly, after a brief hiatus, she's back to her gobby little self, which is actually quite nice. It sounds like she's working on a couple of the new United songs, so her first word is likely to be 'Ronaldo', or some anti-City invective that's frankly unprintable.
Just over a week ago, on Tuesday 25th, we saw the beginnings of the start of the creation of the...beginning...of her first tooth. It's Ellies bottom right main gnasher (incisor might be the technical term) and it's going to be a sharp 'un. So perhaps the weaning we're doing is about right. However, it carries with it other issues...
....Like, the following day, her first proper poo arrived. It was, um, gross. Especially as it came in two parts - the second while Jo was changing her nappy. And it stinks, not like baby poo, which to be honest you can deal with, but like proper...poo. Frankly that's enough now, time for boarding school.
As if that wasn't enough (and it is) her sick now smells. Baby vomit is fine. It's white, it smells of milk and it can gotten used to. But this is proper vomit. It stinks. She smells like a bloody tramp.
And as if that wasn't enough (and it really is), she's getting perilously close to crawling. This presents all manner of logisitical problems, particularly around positioning of the speakers in the lounge. Grr. Kids!
